Tuesday 2/8 - Jimtown @ Bremen

  • Carson Miller - 6'3" 2022 Guard/Forward - Bremen
    • This was a tough night at the office for Carson, but he didn't quit and saved his best for the end. Finished with 13 points and 5 rebounds and closed the game out for the Lions. He's the kind of kid who will work hard outside of practice, just as much as he does during practice. Unselfish player who likes getting his teammates involved. Good build already so easy to get him a little stronger. D3 with a potential NAIA ceiling.

Friday 2/11 - West Noble @ Columbia City

  • Austin Cripe - 6'4" 2023 Combo Guard - West Noble
    • Austin is a pure scorer, who can also rebound well and distribute. Loves getting downhill and to the rim where he can finish. Great body with some length who will only get stronger. Capable shooter and defender. Would love to see him have more dog in him where he just takes a game over because I feel like the ability is there. He's an NAIA/D2 kid with his size and position versatility.
  • Andrew Hedrick - 6'1" 2023 Guard - Columbia City
    • Andrew is a scrappy lead guard who is always under control. Can guard multiple positions with his toughness and versatility. Great at getting to the rack and finishing. Tremendous FT shooter as well. Outside shot is there and he doesn't force it. Very heady player. Gets inside and rebounds well. Good in the open floor and also in the half court. Controls his team with purpose and understanding. Is a D3 coaches dream but I can see him playing at the NAIA level for sure.
  • Mason Baker - 6'2" 2022 Guard - Columbia City
    • Mason is such a solid and consistent player. Guards multiple positions. Shoots it well. Active on the glass and is a good passer. Never stops moving on offense and finds his spots. Doesn't force shots. Great at getting out and transition. Definite leader and like how he plays. He's looking at the D3 level right now and I feel like he fits really well there.

Saturday 2/12 - Hammond Central @ Chesterton

  • Jordan Woods - 6'3" 2023 Guard - Hammond Central
    • It was a tough night for the Wolves, but Jordan was consistent for them. He does just about everything well. Can shoot it from outside, run the point, rebound, and distribute the ball, and get to the paint. His size really helps him do what he wants as he can shoot over defenders. Ball handling helps him get around the defense with a really good hesitation move. Good length on the defensive end as well. Can see why coaches and scouts like his upside. I think he's a D2-D1 type of player when all said and done.
  • Kenneth Grant - 6' 2023 Guard - Hammond Central
    • Grant started off the game HOT! He is a shooter who can get on a burner and knock down 5-6 3s in a row. When those weren't falling he would try to attack the basket. Was a little loose but capable off the dribble. Rebounds it well for his size. Hard nosed defender as well. His shooting ability would be nice at the NAIA level.
  • Travis Grayson - 5'10" 2022 Guard - Chesterton
    • If you don't know the name now and you're an NAIA coach then you better get familiar real soon. Bulldog. Turned it up last night and controlled the game. Got to the basket when he wanted and finished. Steady and trustworthy with the ball. Doesn't make mistakes. Floor leader. As mentioned before he has gotten a lot better from outside. Someone you'd love on your team and not have to worry about going up against. Have spoken highly of him since his sophomore season and he's done nothing but get better. It's time for more NAIA offers.
  • Tyler Parrish - 6'2" 2023 Guard - Chesterton
    • Tremendous upside here for Tyler. Love how he plays and his size. So smooth and under control with the ball. Can be a secondary ball handler if needed. Hits outside shots with consistency. Plays hard and can defend. Know what you're gonna get out of him on a nightly basis. For now I see him at the NAIA level.
  • Justin Sims - 6'6" 2023 Forward - Chesterton
    • This was the best game I've seen Justin play offensively that wasn't an AAU game. He did everything right and let the game come to him. Showed patience around the basket and finished through contact. Went 8/9 from the line. With his length he is always going to be a rim protector, whether that means he's blocking shots or just altering them. Can also get into passing lanes and make deflections. As he continues to get stronger it will only make him a better inside player. Has the ability to stretch the floor, now, as he can shoot it a bit. Be interesting to see what the postseason and summer holds for him. NAIA/D2
