Bloomington South (12-0) at Bloomington North (9-2)

The battle of Bloomington!  Like most rivalries, especially crosstown rivals, they're better when both teams are good.  South is a little more tested and still unblemished.  North is more youth reliant.  Plenty of talent on both teams to go around.

    • Bloomington South
      • Anthony Leal, 6'5" senior guard
      • Noah Jager, 5'10" senior guard
      • Conner Hickman, 6'1" junior guard
    • Bloomington North
      • Isaac Vencel, 6'2" junior guard
      • Nick Klaiber, 6'2" sophomore guard
      • Jeremiah Blair, 6'3" senior forward
      • Aaron Steinfeldt, 6'5" junior forward
      • Jaqualon Roberts, 6'6" freshman forward

Lawrence North (8-0) at Warren Central (8-0)

A new coach for Warren, no problem!  As much as Warren relied on upperclassmen the last two seasons, the young kids moving were going to be just as good.  It's a different type of team this time around.  They don't quite have as much depth in the backcourt, but they have more size.

This is as deep into the season Lawrence North has been undefeated since the Oden and Conley days.  While I'm not certain LN has seen the meat of their schedule, the manner in which they have dominated or pulled away mid-way through games has been impressive.

    • Lawrence North
      • Tony Perkins, 6'4" senior guard
      • DJ Hughes, 6'7" junior forward
      • Shamar Avance, 6'1" junior point guard
      • CJ Gunn, 6'4" sophomore guard
    • Warren Central
      • Malik Stanley, 5'11" junior guard
      • Chandler Jackson, 6'5" sophomore forward
      • Sean Black, 5'10" junior guard
      • Aaron Humphrey, 6'6" sophomore center

Greensburg (8-2) at Connersville (8-2)

Pike (8-2) at Fishers (12-1)

Fresh off their only loss of the season, Fishers gets to bounce back against a MIC team whose only losses are to other MIC teams.  Fishers is still playing without their best shooter, Alex Szilagyi.

    • Pike
      • Davion Bailey, 6'4" senior guard
      • Ryan Conwell, 6'2" sophomore guard
      • Eddie Jones, 6'4" junior forward

Fort Wayne Snider (8-2) vs Lawrence North (8-0) at Banker's Life Fieldhouse

Definitely love that Snider schedules out of their geographical area, and in coming down to BLF, they get the #1 team in the state.  LN's depth might put them over the top in this one, but both teams play the night before, so fatigue could come into play.  Shooting background in an arena vs a gym could also play a role.

    • Fort Wayne Snider
      • Dillon Duff, 6'5" senior forward
      • Michael Ely, 6'4" junior guard
      • Isaac Farnsworth, 6'3" senior guard
    • Lawrence North
      • Tony Perkins, 6'4" senior guard
      • DJ Hughes, 6'7" junior forward
      • Shamar Avance, 6'1" junior point guard
      • CJ Gunn, 6'4" sophomore guard

Carmel (5-3) at Westfield (8-0)

Carmel is "down", but most knew this would be a transition year.  Normally relying heavily on seniors or players with deep varsity experience, they have just one senior, and their most tested player coming into this season is a sophomore.

The problem with the that Carmel is young is the Westfield, at 8-0, is equally young with a little more experience.  Westfield's class of 2022 has seen a player leave and come back, but it's been known this was their best group in well over 40 years.  Carmel is still a hurdle, especially if Westfield is thinking about winning Sectional 8

    • Carmel
      • Peter Suder, 6'4" sophomore guard
      • Charlie Williams, 6'9" sophomore center
      • Bryan Waddell, 6'6" junior guard
    • Westfield
      • Braden Smith, 5'10" sophomore guard
      • Nic Depasquale, 6'1" sophomore guard
      • Cam Haffner, 6'2" sophomore guard
      • Benji Welch, 6'0" junior guard

Washington (8-1) at Heritage Hills (6-3)

Both have wins over Evansville Bosse, their only common opponent, but Heritage Hills enters with more weapons and much more tested on paper.  It's been a long time since Washington got off to this good of a start without a Zeller on the roster.

    • Washington
    • Heritage Hills
      • Blake Sisley, 6'8" junior forward
      • Murray Becher, 6'4" senior forward
      • Simon Scherry, 6'1" senior point guard
