Furst struggled vs Logan Duncomb. Duncomb muscled him in the post, and while Furst is more mobile, Duncomb isn't immobile. The difference didn't translate to an advantage for Furst on the perimeter. Underscoring some of the issue Furst will face in the B1G. He's an undersized 5, whose game will need to stretch more or push more defensively to a 4.

Furst did show more range this weekend, and his shot is smoother than before. Those are positive for long term views. Defensively, Furst should be able to evolve into guarding quicker, face up 4's.

When Hatton is hitting the top of the key 3, he projects to be a versatile center who can trail the break. When he's not, he keeps shooting, and he needs to break from that.

He was sped up vs Caleb Furst and Blake Sisley. It impacted his shot, and it impacted his footwork in the low post. His physicality was effective on defense, where he doesn't give up ground easily. He did struggle to get out to the 3pt line though.

Jordan struggled against the size and physical nature of guys like Langdon Hatton and Curt Hopf. Those are high caliber players, but there was definitely a noticeable physical and skill difference.

Jordan is very much at his best when he's able to get on the offensive glass. That didn't happen as much.

Not many scoring opportunities for Nicholson other than drop offs and the offensive glass, but he capitalized on both. And as Caleb Furst thought he would find things easier while Logan Duncomb was out, Nicholson's big body caused a lot of issues on both ends.

Not sure why D1s haven't jumped on board yet.

Good athlete and is able to defend multiple positions, but he has an inconsistent motor. His motor is better on the defensive end than the offensive end, where he is primarily as a drop off or second chance scorer.

Still pretty raw offensively, and contact impacts him. His core will improve, and he'll get stronger. When he's engaged, he's very good on the glass on both ends.

Event: Terrific 24
July 17-19, 2020
Hatton isn't shy at the 3pt line in a top of the break 3, and it's proving to be a shot he can hit enough. His mid-range jump shot is effective as well. Both bode well for his future. He has a quick release, even starting with his back to basket at shorter ranges.

He moved well enough on defense away from the basket, but his strength is still as a rim protector. Good length with a strong body.

McNary has become a defensive presence around the paint. Certainly not just showing the ability to block shots, but having the discipline to know when to just be big.

Offensively, he still a drop off or secondary catch guy, and he's also hits the offensive glass and can finish through contact. Needs work with his back to the basket.

Active around the paint for sure, he was impactful on the glass on both ends. He didn't do much away from the paint offensively.

Looks to be able to guard multiple positions and away from the paint.

Hit a couple of above the break 3s, quick release. Posted strong inside too. Slow feet but solid footwork. Meticulous.
