7:30 PM Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (0-0) vs. Fort Wayne North Side (0-1)

It's a new era at Blackhawk. Four sectional titles in a row. Two state titles (likely would've been a three-peat). A semi-state run. That was the Caleb Furst era. Here's a fun fact. Outside of Homestead, Blackhawk hasn't lost to a Fort Wayne area team since the 2017-2018 season.

Blackhawk has the size and length to compete. The question will be how will they handle North's quickness and back court pressure.

After a rough loss Saturday at Lawrence North to open the season, a which got 'chippy' in the second half, North is looking to break into the win column and break their three game losing streak to Blackhawk.

  • 7:30 PM Tindley (1-1) vs. Arsenal Tech (1-0)

No rest for the weary for either of these teams. Both teams coming off games vs. ranked foes, and while Tindley is a 1A school, they have big school talent and depth. The health of Bass will be a quesiton mark. He injured his ankle in the final minutes of their win over Warren Central. It was deemed as not serious, but that's still typically a 2-3 week injury.

Look for an up and down game. Tech has good shooters, who will push the boundaries of their range. The more they get fr kickouts from paint touches, the more effecient they are. Tindley can't get in a shooting match with them, but they can steal extra possessions on the offensive glass.
