The strong play kept coming. Cole Wireman, 5'11" junior guard, puts a lot of stats up for undefeated Kouts (8-0). This past week he had 21 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals and 3 assists vs Frontier, and followed that up with 29 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals vs Hammond Academy. Trey Kaufman continues to put up impressive numbers. The 6'8" junior forward from Silver Creek posted a 35 point, 7 rebound, 4 assist, 4 steal and 3 block performance in a win over Charlestown. He followed it up with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists in a win over Providence. Mason Brooks, 6'5" junior wing, nearly notched a triple-double in North Putnam's win over Cascade--26 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists to go along with 3 blocks and 2 steals. The Player of the Week (POTW) for the week of December 30-January 4 presented by Metro Indy Basketball is Barr-Reeve's Keegan O'Neill.
