I think we've had a sophomore win this before, but it's still very rare to get a sophomore put up these stat lines.  In their win over Providence, Jack Benter, scored 24 points with 8 assists, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks.  The 6'5" sophomore guard from Brownstown came one assist away from a triple double the night before vs. Eastern (Pekin), finishing with 21 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 1 steal. 

To start the week, however, he pulled off his biggest feat, in a come from behind win over Floyd Central, Benter totaled 37 points (6-12 3PT), 10 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal, including hitting the game winner from about 30' out at the buzzer.
