Home Game Center Game Takes Game Takes Game Takes: Munster 75 – Bishop Noll 49 By Zak T - November 24, 2022 FacebookTwitterReddIt In a game that Munster led start to finish, the Mustangs showed their depth, as well as their ability to maintain a lead with their veteran leaders on the bench in foul trouble. 2024 guard Nolan Kinsella really stepped it up. Munster will be a contender yet again. Although Munster senior and Northern Michigan commit Brandon Trilli didn't score until the second half, he made the most of his time. Saddled with 2 early fouls and forced to the bench, he came out of the halftime break and asserted himself right away to help put this game out of reach. Brandon has such quick feet and can get to the basket easily. Will have a solid senior season and be a great leader for the Mustangs. Every time I see 2024 guard David Cundiff I am impressed. Is always in full control of the game and his team. Runs the point very well and should be on coaches radars going forward, if he isn't already. Good size and is strong which helps him finish through contact. Is also a capable shooter. Knack for finding the open teammate. Just the type of heady player you like running your squad. A surprise in this one was 6'2" Nolan Kinsella (2024) for Munster. When Cundiff and Trilli went out with foul trouble, he stepped it up. Would like to see him again, but definitely someone who coaches should take notice of. Long frame and can score at all three levels. Has time to get stronger which will help his game even more. Rebounds position well also. Keep an eye on him if you're an NAIA coach. Coming into this one a player that we really wanted to get our eyes on was Noll 2024 guard move-in Jaedin Reyna. At 6' he was a well known recruit coming in from Illinois. In this one he struggled to get things going. I'd credit that to first game jitters. He is a solid passer and handles it well, and also knocked down a couple 3s. When I see him again I want to see if he's taking on more of a leader roll and elevated his defending. He showed some flashes for sure. Give him a couple games to settle in.
