Home Game Center Game CenterGame Takes Game Takes: SB St. Joe 84 – SB Adams 80 By Zak T - December 3, 2022 FacebookTwitterReddIt In a game that saw Adams hold a lead for a majority of the first half, the Indians wouldn't be put away thanks to sophomore sensation Chase Konieczny who poured in 36 for St. Joe. Chase hit big shot after big shot. The Eagles couldn't get over the hump in the fourth despite senior Britt Vann's big night. Chase Konieczny - Sophomore - St. Joe. Where else would we start after the sophomore scores 36 points and knocking down 6 threes on his way to leading the Indians to a victory. Just Tuesday, Concord held Chase to 15 points, making everything difficult for him. Three days later he wouldn't be held back. He is known for his shooting, but was able to score at all three levels. His length is a huge asset which helps him get shots off and also rebound his position well. If you're looking at a comparison to his brother, JR, then I'd say that Chase is further along that JR was as a sophomore. The major difference is that JR is more athletic and bouncier. Chase is sneaky quick with the ball and able to blow by defenders and finish at the rim. Also has a nice jumper he displayed. Definitely a top 10 prospect for the 2025 class. 6'2" John Adams senior Brittain Vann showed why this is his team. Vann started off being hot early, scoring 10 of his team high 24 in the first quarter, and go things going for the Eagles. Britt is great on the ball as well as off of it, and leaves it all on the floor. Hit a couple big 3s and distributes well. Should be in store for a big senior season.
