Games like these are what Winter Break should be all about, two teams set to have great years, who don't normally play each other, matching up. Valpo powered by Mason Jones and Breece Walls get plenty of support from a bevy of good shooters. Valpo hasn't been as tested as Carmel, but they come into this game as a definite contender to get to the 4A North Semi-state.

Carmel is still looking to find offensive consistency, but Sam Orme has started to be more assertive, aiding Peter Suder's production. Defensively, no one is better. Carmel looks to get Charlie Williams going, and it will be interesting to see how Valpo combats Carmel's length.
