7:30 PM Lafayette Jefferson (9-1) vs. Fishers (11-1)
Jeff's schedule gets tougher starting tonight, as Fishers is their first real test of the season. Javan Buchanan has been an extremely productive transfer. The 6'7" forward started at Jeff, moved to Arizona then returned in time for summer. Jahsiah Kirk-Williams has made good with more minutes and a bigger role. EJ Reese gives them production up front.
Fishers' win over Homestead puts them in a core group of teams which could go unscathed in March. Their wins over Ben Davis, Mt. Vernon and Snider are resume builders as well. Jeffrey Simmons has been a load inside nad has shown more range this year, and the play of freshman Jalan Haralson has exceeded the lofiest of projections. Haralson has been wonderful.

7:30 PM Mishawaka Marian (8-1) vs. Cathedral (7-3)
Marian's lone loss is to Westfield, and regardless of what happens to Cathedral, they will be among the elite in 3A come March. Cathedral is deeper and longer, and they have a good matchup for Richard Brooks with Jaxson Edwards, Jaron Tibbs or Jake Davis. The offensive glass could tell the story of this game. Kaleo Kakalia, for Marian, as well as Davis and Xavier Booker for Cathedral, all spend time at the 3pt line on offense.

7:30 PM Mt. Vernon (6-1) vs. Westfield (6-2)
After beating #1 Zionsville, Mt. Vernon travels to Westfield to play the Hall of Fame Champs. This is a big "prove it" matchup for Armon Jarrard, who sholud be matched up against Braden Smith. An excellent defender when he's engaged, this will be his biggest assignment until March.
Westfield is a team between two big weekends, which could create a bit of a trap game scenario. At some point, Mt. Vernon will extend their defense and could easily see them forcing the ball out of Smith's hands. Utlimately, Westfield has struggled against length, and Mt. Vernon doesn't have that kind of length.

The back half of Chatard's schedule is considerably tougher than their front half, starting tonight vs. Beech Grove, but a good win over Evansville Bosse is a signature win. Handling Anthony Ball is a major task for any team.

7:30 PM NorthWood (10-1) vs. Columbia City (8-1)
Columbia City's lone loss is to Warsaw, and NorthWood will be the best team they've played since. Andrew Hedrick / Cade Brenner matchup will be a fun one, and Ian Raasch could have a big game.
