Indianapolis City Tournament Finals

Location: Aresenal Tech

7:30 PM Cathedral (12-1) vs. Crispus Attucks (12-3)

Despite not playing a regularly scheduled game since Crispus Attucks re-opened as a high school and re-established its varsity program, these two teams are very familiar with each other. Sharing Sectional 10 since the year of our COVID lord, 2020, the two teams have potential to face each other twice a year.

This is the 6th year in a row the teams have faced each other in the City Tournament, five of those years they matched up in the final. The only two times Cathedral under Jason Delaney didn't win the City Tournament, they lost to Crispus Attucks in the final. Cathedral has won five of the last seven City Tournaments.

Neither team has a bad loss on their schedule. Cathedral's lone loss came in the absence of two starters, LeBron Gough and Keaton Aldridge. Aldridge remains out for tonight's game. Crispus Attucks, the Hall of Fame champs, has losses to Lawrence North, North Central and Noblesville.
