7:30 PM Anderson (1-0) vs. Lapel (0-0)

This may not be your father's Anderson Indians, but this should be the best Anderson team in quite some while. They've had one winning season since 2009, and that was the last time they were above .500 in consecutive years. What's odd about this Anderson team, even some of those high level teams didn't have the kind of size they do now. Kedric Anderson is a load, and Willis is matchup problem. Paige, the tallest of the bunch, has excellent 3pt range. Ingram is a perimeter talent.

Lapel will counter with experienced guards/wings in Blair, Craig and Renihan, but get to know the Judge brothers. Probably as heraled as freshmen Lapel has had since Jason Holsinger (class of 2005).

  • 7:30 PM Tindley (0-0) vs. Gary 21st Century (1-0)

(Game at Gary West HS) A game chalk full of talent. As explosive as both teams should be offensively, even though Williamson will add a defensive edge to 21st Century, Tindley has a major edge on the defensive end of the floor. Stopping Williamson, Moss and Floyd will be a pick your poison affair. Both Pinkston brothers can be lockdown defenders, and along with Humphrey, Tindley should battle on the glass.
    Tindley Tigers

  • Deon Richmond 6'5" power forward (2024)
  • Henri Maye 6'7" center (2025)

7:30 PM Jennings County (0-0) vs. Columbus North (1-0)

North coming in after a blowout of Heritage Christian to open the season, Horn and King are poised for strong seasons. King has really come along and is a nice interior presence on both ends of the floor. Manowitz can really stroke it, but the Panthers will have their hands full with North's physical defense.
    Jennings County Panthers
  • Carter Kent 5'11" point guard (2025)
  • Columbus North Bulldogs
