Bloomfield (5-0) at Bloomington South (10-0)

  • Two undefeateds meet, and while South is the favorite, Bloomfield gets to see where they are, as "good for a small school" or just pretty damn good.

Evansville Reitz (6-3) at Bloomington North (9-1)

  • Reitz is struggling beating good teams, rolling in with a three game losing streak.  Khristian Lander has held up his production, but they aren't getting consistent production elsewhere.  North is off to their best since Coach Tom McKinney left, 2004.  It's a deep and balanced group.

  • Cathedral is as deep as they have ever been, but it's young.  So in the big picture, they won't be a a favorite to win their sectional, but if they do, they could get deeper than most would've expected coming into the season.  Both teams are balanced, and both teams have talented underclassmen running their teams, Tayshawn Comer for Cathedral, Jayden Brewer for Avon.

  • This is only Valpo's second true road game of the year, the first of three in a row, and while they have a good group of seniors, they are led by underclassmen.  Warsaw, rolling along as usual, comes in riding a five game winning streak.

Culver Academy (4-3) at Lawrence Central (7-1)

  • Fresh off their Hall of Fame Tournament championship, LC hosts Culver, who has lost three in a row without injured, Indiana recruit Trey Galloway.  This is in the time period Galloway was due back.  Without him, they still have plenty of talent on most nights, but LC is loaded at the top and deep beyond their three stars.
