P: Justin Dobbins, 6'5" junior forward; Noah Gordon, 6'5" junior forward BD: Jamari London, 6'3" senior wing; Jadon Brown, 6'6" senior forward Hamilton Southeastern (1-1) at Avon (1-1) Hoosier Crossroads Conference foes, Avon still has yet to get Jayden Brewer going full throttle, and HSE, coming off a loss, looks has the ultimate rim protector in Mabor Majak to counteract Avon attacking the paint. A: Emerging early on is Gabe McNary, 6'8" junior forward; Chrishon McCray, 5'10" sophomore guard HSE: Vinny Bucilla, 6'2" junior guard; Cole Hornbuckle, 6'4" senior wing Castle (1-0) at Floyd Central (3-0) Isaiah Swope, 5'10" junior guard, is coming of a big opener last weekend, despite starting the game off a little slow. Floyd Central, led by Jake Heidbreder, 6'5" guard, is still winning despite losing a ton to graduation last year. C: Louis Block, 6'5" senior forward; Bob Nunge, 6'5" junior forward; Cole Simmons, 6'1" forward FC: Grant Gohmann, 6'4" senior forward; Caleb Washington, 6'4" freshman forward Franciscan Health Hoops Classic (semi-finals at Lafayette Jeff) 6:00pm - Lafayette Harrison vs. Lafayette Jeff 7:30pm - McCutcheon vs. West Lafayette Other Top Games on Friday Carmel (1-0) at Lawrence Central (1-1) Columbus North (2-0) at Shelbyville (2-0) Greensburg (0-0) at Batesville (1-0) - always a top game Homestead (1-0) at Warsaw (2-0) Terre Haute South (2-1) at Evansville Bosse (0-0) Saturday, December 7 Lawrence North (0-0) at Jeffersonville (1-0) Two mega-talented rosters square off, but the big question is can LN's DJ Hughes stand out on the inside, while he's improving his perimeter game. Both teams are loaded, but the 6'7" junior forward is an X-factor in the matchup problems he an create. LN: Tony Perkins, 6'4" senior guard (committed to Iowa); Shamar Avance, 6'1" junior guard J: Tre Coleman, 6'5" senior guard (committed to Nevada); Jacob Jones, 6'0" senior point guard (committed to UW-Green Bay); Will Loving-Watts, 6'4" sophomore forward; Darrin Starks, 5'9" senior guard (committed to Hanover) Plainfield (2-0) at Brownsburg (2-0) Coach Andy Weaver has Plainfield about where he had Western before he left for Hendricks County. Balanced attack, a good mix of seniors and juniors with a younger player in the mix. Meanwhile, Brownsburg has had Connor Lucas, 6'2" senior guard emerge. Lucas changes the gravity a bit for the opposing defense with his range, opening up more room for the more familiar names. P: Aiden Booher, 6'4" junior guard; Cade East, 6'3" senior guard; Ian Scott, 6'7" junior forward B: Pierce Thomas, 6'5" junior guard; Malek Edmonds, 6'6" senior forward; Luke Lacey, 6'1" junior point guard Chesterton (2-0) at Lowell (2-0) Chesterton has owned this matchup a bit the last three seasons, and Jake Wadding's improved skill and seemingly tireless motor makes the 6'5" senior forward a hard out. Lowell has their own 'go-to guy' in 6'7" junior guard, Chris Mantis, and this junior laden roster inches its way to competing in the physical Region. C: Alex Schmidt, 6'2" senior guard; Jake Warren, 6'6" senior forward L: Cameron Stojancevich, 6'4" junior forward; Cayden Vasko, 6'2" sophomore guard Franciscan Health Hoops Classic (finals at Lafayette Jeff) 2:00pm - Benton Central vs Lafayette Central Catholic 4:00pm - Twin Lakes vs Covington 6:00pm - Consolation game (losers from Friday night) 8:00pm - Championship game (winners from Friday night) Other Top Games on Saturday Bloomington North (1-0) at Center Grove (0-0) Brebeuf (1-0) at Cathedral (1-0) Merrillville (1-1) at South Bend Riley (1-0) Mt.
