Shenandoah is more balanced than Blackford with more options, and while Blackford has more capable weapons in Grimes and the freshman Wore, they are super reliant on Brown. Shenandoah has to get the ball out of his hands early in possessions and make the others beat them. BR's schedule has been stronger than FWB's up to this, but FWB's schedule considerable tougher starting today. The marquee match-up is Caleb Furst vs. Curt Hopf. Both 6'9" senior centers. Both skilled facing the basket. BR does more to get Hopf shots away from the rim, while FWB runs a lot of offense through Furst at high post, where he showed vs. Silver Creek he's an excellent passer. The main recipient of those passes, Zane Burke, as Furst's high post spacing give Burke plenty of room for him to finish. Gary West (5-1) at Lawrence North (5-0) LN's grind of a schedule continues, and one of the few times of the year they will have a size disadvantage. The headliners are Washington for Gary West and LN's Hughes and Gunn, but it's the battle of unsigned senior guards, Peterson vs. Avance, that should shape up to be the most fun to observe.
